This is also a village. It is located in the Saarland State, Southwest of Germany. Why am I here? To visit a friend that I know from my work in Indonesia. Or else, I wouldn’t even know there’s a place named Sankt Wendel. (Visited at 3-6 Oct 2007)

Hallo!
My name is Asti from Indonesia. I come to Germany as a scholarship grantee for Master Degree. I study Tropical Marine Ecology in the University of Bremen.
I never been to Germany before, in fact, I never been to Europe at all. Well technically I’ve been to Europe in 1996. I was stranded in Heathrow Airport, London for about 16 hours without having England’s visa, so I couldn’t come out to breathe the real England’s air. So I think, this doesn’t count as a ‘been to Europe’.
This blog is my stories about my daily life in Germany. How do I adapt to it and surviving it.
